Jobs of the Future

What does your child want to be when they grow up? The Arizona Department of Education has created My Future AZ, which is a graduation and career planning tool to assist students, parents, and educators. Students take an age appropriate career interest quiz. Once they finish their top results, it will allow them to begin exploring careers that align with their interests. The dashboard will grow with their child as they advance in high school and beyond.

What are the careers of the future? Gallup has created an interactive database that sorts career options by the Future Career Index (CFI). The CFI rates careers based on income, job growth, vacancies per seeker, resistance to automation, and education levels.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics offers an Occupational Outlook Handbook that offers in-depth information on careers that includes a summary of the job description, work environment, training or education requirements, pay, job outlook, and more.
