Parent Safety Training

We know school safety is at the forefront of the minds of our parents and guardians.

The Laveen School District is hosting a special training for our parents on school safety on July 28, 2022. Crisis planning expert Jesus Villahermosa, of Crisis Reality Training, will be presenting information parents need to know about school lockdowns and how to talk to their children about school safety.

The training is planned for July 28 and we will be offering two sessions to choose from, one at 9:00 a.m. and one at 5:00 p.m. The sessions run for about two hours and include a Q&A. This training will be held at Rogers Ranch School, 6735 S. 47th Avenue, but is open to all parents/guardians with students attending our schools. There is no charge to attend.

This is an adults-only event due to the sensitive nature of this training and children are not permitted to attend.

Only a limited amount of seats are available for these sessions. In an effort to accommodate as many families as possible, we ask that only one adult from each family attend. Additional guests may be waitlisted.
