Curriculum Adoption

The K-8 math adoption committee is in the process of reviewing potential curriculum for adoption to begin in the 2024-25 school year. The committee is currently reviewing the following publishers:

The K-8 Math Adoption Committee consists of community members, teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators serving in a leadership capacity to research and evaluate math programs for grades
K–8. The goal for this committee is to recommend materials that strongly align with the 2016 Arizona Mathematics Standards. Additionally, math resources will be on digital display for community feedback beginning on 11/29/23.

ALL meetings are held in the LESD boardroom. The meeting dates/times are as follows:
9/21 4pm – 5pm
10/2 4pm – 5pm
10/19 4pm – 5pm
11/2, 11/2, 11/3 – *Publisher Presentations 4pm – 6pm
11/7 – *Publisher Presentation 4pm – 4:45pm
11/16 4pm – 5pm
11/30 4pm – 5pm
12/13 4pm – 5pm *added

To apply, community members, teachers and instructional coaches must submit a brief letter of interest to their school principal by Thursday, September 7th.
