Prospective Families Invited to Attend May 4 Open House Event

Prospective families can learn more about our schools at our annual Open House event. Each of our schools will host an in-person open house on May 4, 2021. Two separate sessions will be held, at 5:00 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. Families will be provided with an overview of the school and a tour of the campus with special emphasis on the school’s signature program.

In order to assist in our planning and accommodate social distancing, we are asking visitors to register for this event at the link below. Face coverings are required of all visitors.

Dr. Ryan Senters Appointed to Governing Board

ryansenterslaveen214x300Dr. Ryan Senters has been appointed to Laveen’s Governing Board by the Office of the Maricopa County School Superintendent.

Dr. Senters is a Laveen parent, local educator, and foster care advocate. He has six children, four of whom attend Laveen schools.

He is a residential faculty member at South Mountain Community College where he teaches developmental psychology, statistics, and research methods.

Dr. Senters is the founder of Ohana AZ, a social service agency that provides residential and social services for foster children and adults with disabilities. He also founded Anchor House Mission, a South Phoenix non-profit that provides housing and support for aged out foster children and young women who are victims of sex-trafficking.

A Laveen businessman, Dr. Senters owns Sky Zone Laveen, a trampoline park, and F45 Laveen, a fitness training facility.

Dr. Senters has a Ph.D in Psychology and master’s degrees in Christian Leadership and Clinical Psychology.

Dr. Senters fills the Governing Board seat held by long-time board member Susan Sanborn who passed away in February.
